Science Sphere (Science On a Sphere - SOS) is a patented system developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the United States.

Through a network of sensors placed across oceans and the atmosphere, NOAA collects real-time data on earthquakes, tsunamis, climate movements, precipitation, drought, climate change, and various oceanic and atmospheric dynamics. These datasets are transmitted to Science On a Sphere centers worldwide, where they are visualized in real time on a spherical display, providing audiences with an immersive 3D experience.

Science Spheres (interactive globes) are highly engaging, interactive systems. The SOS software compiles elevation and longitude data into four separate spherical projections, which are then displayed seamlessly on the globe. This advanced educational technology allows users to closely explore and understand our planet. Today, around 100 Science Sphere installations are used in science centers, earthquake research institutes, and meteorological organizations worldwide.

ATIWOW recognizes that the Science Sphere unit is a crucial component of modern education and emphasizes the importance of delivering scientifically accurate information.

The Science Sphere is not limited to Earth visualization. This system can also be adapted by our team for planets such as Mars, Jupiter, and other celestial bodies. With a single spherical system, multiple space objects can be explored. We are pleased to share that our infrastructure development for this capability is ongoing.
